Blue Ink Trust is currently working towards the construction of a three-storey school dedicated to girls’ education, focusing on academic learning alongside essential life skills. This project aims to provide a safe, structured, and empowering environment for girls from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The school will consist of 36 rooms, including 19 classrooms, 3 science laboratories, 1 computer laboratory, 1 library, and 12 boarding rooms. Once completed, the building will have the capacity to educate up to 600 girls and provide boarding accommodation for 180 orphaned and underprivileged girls.
Construction is already underway, with the first floor completed, comprising 12 rooms. Continued support is now required to complete the remaining floors and essential facilities.

A dedicated school bus helps children reach school safely and consistently—especially those who travel long distances or face unsafe routes. Reliable transport improves attendance, punctuality, and overall learning outcomes.
By adding two additional buses, we aim to reach more villages and help many more children access education. A 53-seater bus costs £33,000.

The school is located in a highly deprived area where many families struggle to afford basic necessities, let alone thinking of sending their children to school. We urge you to join hands in breaking down the barriers to education.
With £125 per year, one student can receive

Blue Ink Trust is constantly working to improve education quality. One key improvement is providing proper equipment such as interactive whiteboards in classrooms. We are currently raising funds for 4 interactive whiteboards for higher classes, helping teachers deliver more impactful lessons.

Many families in the area do not produce enough rice/wheat to sell and earn money for essential foods such as meat and vegetables. Blue Ink Trust has started a food ration programme where a poor family with very little income can receive a monthly food pack.

Work for women in the area is often non-existent. To support widows and women with little or no income, Blue Ink Trust runs a programme that teaches widows to sew clothes so they can earn. We teach stitching skills, provide a sewing machine, and help connect them with tailoring shops to start earning.

Some have no source of income whatsoever. Blue Ink Trust supports such families through a goat rearing programme, providing a female goat which can produce 1–2 kids per year, which gives them some income.
